Palau Pacific Resort

Palau is an archipelago just 7 degrees north of the equator in the West Pacific Ocean with lots of white sand beaches and idyllic dive conditions.  It is a haven for the underwater photography enthusiast.

Awarded “2007 Best Dive Resort in Asia” by the World Travel Awards, Palau Pacific Resort is a 5-star luxury resort for divers and non-divers alike.  It is located on the only private beach in Palau, on the island of Koror.
PPR, as it is fondly known, will be our home away from home for the first week of our journey.  I think Rod and I will be able to suffer through it.  What do you think?  Check out more info about the resort at http://www.palauppr.com/ .

Most of our days at PPR will consist of class from 7:30-9:00am and then we get to go off for 2 boat dives.  After that I guess we will get to adventure around the resort, check out its facilities and maybe have some time to adventue into town for dinner if we do not want to eat at the resort.

I am not sure which day it will happen, but we will get a super treat one day when the Palau liveaboard Ocean Hunter III will take us out for the day.  Can't wait!  I will keep you posted.   http://www.oceanhunter.com/
